Since the foundation of the college of ICT Engineering, our fundamental educational principle has been to instill innovative thinking in our education system.

College of Engineering of Chung-Ang University has a long history and honored tradition, and has produced many excellent engineers who contributed to rapid industrial development in Korea. As the roles of information and communication technology has been very important, engineering school was re-organized and the college of ICT engineering was established in 2014.

The college of ICT Engineering has three schools. They are School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, the School of Computer Science and Engineering, and the School of Integrative Engineering. About 70 faculty members has pursued cutting-edge research and produced many outstanding results in the fields of electronics, communication technology, information and computing area, nano technology, bio-medical technology, and digital imaging.

With a view to educate globally competent engineers who are skilled in various disciplines including engineering and humanities, we have two important programs. To assure the quality of engineering educational programs, we have developed the accreditation program promoted by ABEEK (Accreditation Board for Engineering Education of Korea). In addition, we also offer MACH program which is based on Management, Arts, Conviviality, and Humanities to first and second year engineering students. Our elaborate education programs would cultivate innovative thinking, entrepreneurship mind, artistic sensitivity, and values of conviviality.

The College of ICT Engineering will continue to make ceaseless efforts to be an educational and research institute of excellence.
